Canara Motor Driving School

Our shop is at Nj Arcade, specifically Shop No. 3 on Chilimbi Road. We are right by Lady Hill Junction in Mangalore. If you know where Ferns and Petals is, we are very close to that shop. Canara Motor Driving School has been here in this little spot for some time. Mangalore roads have their own character, especially with the hills and the heavy rain we get. We use basic cars for the lessons because they are easier for beginners to handle. The arcade is a busy little place. There are other shops around us, so there’s always people coming and going. We don't have a lot of space in the office, just enough for a desk and a couple of chairs for when people come to sign up. We spend our hours driving around the junction and the surrounding streets. It gets quite humid here, so we appreciate the breeze when we can get it. We are just local people running a small business. We don't have any fancy brochures or big marketing plans. People usually hear about us from their neighbors or friends. We just focus on getting the job done. It’s a practical sort of life, being out on the road every day. We like the area and the people who live around Lady Hill. It’s a good community to be part of. The arcade can get a bit noisy, but we don't mind it. It just feels like part of the neighborhood. We are usually here until late evening.
