Akshaya Caterers

Akshaya Caterers is located at Akshaya Nilaya in Ashoknagar. We have been here for quite a while now. It is mostly family and a few neighbors helping out in the kitchen. We do weddings, small house parties, and that sort of thing. The kitchen stays very busy early in the morning. Sometimes the people living next door complain about the smell of spices, but they are mostly okay with us being here. We try to keep things clean and use decent ingredients from the local market. We do not have a big office or anything fancy, just our setup here. Most people find us by word of mouth rather than any ads. My uncle started this business years ago and we just kept it going. It is hard work, standing on your feet all day, but seeing people eat and be happy is fine. We handle all the shopping ourselves to make sure the vegetables are fresh. The menu is usually whatever people ask for, nothing too complicated. We do not use much fancy equipment, just big pots and traditional stoves. Ashoknagar is a nice place to work from. There is a lot of competition around here, but we stay busy enough to keep the lights on. If you are walking around near Akshaya Nilaya, you will probably see our small delivery van parked outside. It is not a glamorous job, but it pays the bills and keeps us active in the community.
