Yenepoya Medical College & Hospital

This place is located in Panambur, near the Govt. High School in Meenakaliya. It is a bit of a trek for some, but it’s where we are set up. Most people know us because of the medical college and the hospital. It’s a busy environment with students running around to classes and patients coming in for checkups. The address is linked to Vijaya Amin’s place nearby. Mangalore can be quite humid, and being near the coast at Panambur means you can sometimes smell the salt in the air. We have a lot of different departments, and things can get a bit chaotic during the peak hours of the morning. There are doctors, nurses, and students all trying to get through their schedules. We don't really have a polished way of describing ourselves; we are just a medical facility doing what hospitals do. It’s about people getting better and students learning how to help them. The building is large and has many hallways that can be confusing if you aren't used to them. We spend our days making sure the equipment works and that everyone is where they should be. It is hard work and often goes late into the night. We are just a part of the local community, trying to keep things functioning for everyone who walks through the doors.
