Jet Airways

Our office is over at Rajalalith Nivas in the Ujjody area of Mangalore. It's right near the Kankanady Pumpwell, which most people around here know pretty well. We are the Jet Airways team for this spot. It’s a busy corner of town with lots of traffic going past the windows. We spend our time dealing with ticket issues, flight changes, and people asking about their bags. It can get a bit frantic when flights are delayed, but we try to stay calm. The office is just a regular building, nothing like those big airport terminals. We have a few computers and some stacks of paper that never seem to go away. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait for pages to load while customers are standing there. It’s just how it is. Most of us live nearby in Karnataka and take the local transport to get to work. We’ve been at this Pumpwell location for a good while now. We don't use much corporate talk here; we just tell people what the situation is with their travel. Some days it’s quiet and we just organize the files. Other days, the phone won’t stop ringing. We just keep at it. It's just a local branch office trying to keep things moving for the travelers passing through Mangalore. We don't have uniforms with gold stars, just normal clothes for a normal day's work. The parking area outside can get really crowded by noon.
