Clipper Holidays

Clipper Holidays has been operating out of Bangalore, Karnataka, for quite a long time. We don't have a complicated story; we just really enjoy helping people figure out where they want to go for their vacations. Our office is usually filled with maps, brochures, and the sound of people talking on their headsets to airlines. It’s a lot of logistics, really. We spend hours checking flight times, looking at hotel availability, and trying to make sure all the dates line up for our clients. Bangalore is a great hub for this kind of work because there’s so much going on in the travel industry here. We started out small and stayed that way for a bit, just focusing on our local customers in Karnataka. Now we handle trips all over, but we still feel like a small local team at heart. We don't use a lot of fancy software that does everything automatically; we still like to check things manually to make sure there aren't any mistakes. Our desks are usually covered in post-it notes and half-empty coffee mugs by the end of the day. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but we know where everything is. We aren't interested in being the biggest travel agency around. We just like the feeling of someone coming back from a trip and telling us they had a good time. That’s enough to keep us coming back to work.
