Taj Manjarun,Mangalore

We are located out in Rani-Khola, near Mal-Bazar in the Jalpaiguri district. It's quite a way out, right by the Rungamuttee Tata Tea estate. Even though the name Taj Manjarun might make you think of Mangalore, this is where we actually are in West Bengal. It’s green and quiet around here most of the time. We handle things related to the tea gardens and the local area. The weather can get quite rainy, which makes the roads a bit messy. Our office isn't anything big or flashy. It's just a place where we manage the daily paperwork and talk to the workers. Most of us have lived in this part of Bengal for a long time. We know the tea bushes and the hills pretty well. It's a simple life out here. We don't have fancy office chairs or anything like that. Just desks, some old files, and a lot of tea to drink. People stop by to chat or drop off papers. We don't really have a big sign outside. You just find us by asking for the Rani-Khola post office area. It’s a practical setup for the work we do. We just keep things running without making a fuss. The mountain air is nice, though the humidity can be a lot in the summer. We just stay busy with the tea business. There are plenty of bugs in the rainy season, but we just deal with it. We try to sweep the floor every morning.
