Vishal Holidays

Our office, Vishal Holidays, is situated right opposite the KSRTC bus stand in Bijai. It’s part of the Ashok Travels building. Being so close to the main bus station means there is always a lot of movement outside our windows. We see people rushing for their buses all day long. Inside, it’s a bit quieter, mostly filled with the sound of the phone ringing or the printer going. We’ve got maps on the walls and a few chairs for people to sit while we look up travel dates and prices. It’s a small team here, and we usually know each other’s schedules pretty well. We spend a lot of time on the computer checking schedules or talking to drivers. Sometimes the internet goes slow, which makes things difficult when someone is standing right there waiting for a ticket. We try to keep things simple and just give people the information they need for their trips. Bijai is a central spot, so it’s convenient for people to drop in while they are already out running errands. We don't have a big corporate setup, just a local travel desk where we handle bookings and answer questions about bus routes or hotel stays. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we enjoy seeing the familiar faces of regular travelers who stop by to say hello before they head to the bus stand.
