You can find us at Kondebettu House in the Ashwathpura area, which is under the Moodbidri post office. It’s a very local setup, right in the heart of the community here in this part of Karnataka. The office is inside an old house, which gives it a bit of a different feel than a standard office building you might see in the city. We have a lot of papers to file and documents to sort through every day, and it can get a bit overwhelming when a lot of things come in at once. There are only a few of us working here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything to keep things running. The pace isn't as fast as Mangalore or Bangalore, but we still have plenty to keep us busy from the time we open until we leave. We know most of the people who come through the door by their first names because it’s that kind of neighborhood. The windows are usually left open to let in some air, even if it brings in a bit of dust from the road outside. We don't have any big signs or bright lights, just a simple place where we do our daily tasks. It’s a bit old-fashioned in some ways, but it works for what we need to do. We just focus on the paperwork and try to stay as organized as we can.
