Riya Travels & Tours

Riya Travels and Tours is a small shop in Udupi. Ashfaq runs the place, and it’s been in the family for a bit. We are located right in the heart of the district. It’s a simple room where we help people plan their trips and get their tickets. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just a couple of us who know the travel business well. We spend our days on the phone with bus operators and looking up train timings. The office is pretty basic, just some chairs for customers and our computers. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. We just tell people the best way to get from one place to another. Karnataka is a big state, and there are always people wanting to move around. We are here to help them with that from our spot in the 576221 area. It gets a bit noisy with the street traffic outside, but we are used to it by now. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to wait for it to come back before we can print anything. It’s just the way things are here. We aren't trying to change the world. We are just trying to make sure our neighbors get to where they need to go. It’s a good, honest way to make a living. We have been here for years and we know most of the people who walk through our door.
