Radisson Plaza Resort And Spa Kumarakom

Our office is at Kandamkulathu House in Narangnam. Even though we are associated with the Radisson in Kumarakom, this is where we handle a lot of the background tasks. It’s a quiet spot in the Pathanamthitta district. You have to go through Kozhencherry to get to us. The house is just a regular Kerala home that we’ve turned into a workspace. It’s surrounded by a lot of greenery, which is nice when it rains. We spend our time managing the resort's details, even if we aren't sitting right on the water today. It’s a lot of phone calls and keeping track of bookings on our screens. We don't have a big lobby or a spa here at the house. It’s just rooms filled with files and some old wooden desks. The pace in Narangnam is much slower than in the big tourist spots. We like it that way because it lets us get the work done without too many distractions. Sometimes we have to drive out to the main town for supplies or to mail things out. It’s a very local way of running things. We’ve been here at this address for a long time. It feels right to be part of the community here while still working for a big name. We just take it day by day and try to stay organized. There is always plenty of paperwork to get through and we just keep plugging away at it until the evening.
