Manasa Amusement And Water Park

Manasa Amusement and Water Park is right here in Shivanagar, which is part of Vamanjoor in Mangalore. If you know the area, it's under the Vamanjoor Post. Mr. K.C. Shivaram’s son is looked after it. It is a big space where we have the pools and slides. Living in Mangalore, you know how hot it gets, so people come here to cool off. We’ve been around for a while now. Most people find us easily because everyone around here knows the spot. It's not fancy, just a place for families to hang out on a Saturday or Sunday. We have some green trees around and the water stays pretty clean because we work on it every day. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded during the school holidays, but that’s just how it is. We see kids running around and parents just sitting in the shade. It’s a simple setup. We don't have those massive city mall vibes, it's more like a local hangout. People come from the city and also from the nearby villages. You can hear the water splashing from the gate. We spend our mornings checking the pumps and making sure everything is ready before the first lot of people shows up at the entrance. It's a lot of work keeping a water park going in this humidity, but we’ve got a routine now. Just a regular business run by local folks here in Vamanjoor.
