Our office for the airline is in the May Queen building. It’s right on the Bajpe Kateel Road in Mangalore. Being in the Bajpe Post area means we are very close to the airport. You can hear the planes taking off all day long. We aren't the ones flying them, though. We are the ones in the office handling all the paperwork and local coordination. It’s a busy spot because of all the traffic headed to the terminal. The building is a bit older, but it serves us well. We have our desks set up and we spend most of our time staring at flight schedules and customer lists. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of filing and a lot of phone calls to deal with. We don't have a fancy lounge or a big sign. It’s just an office where we do our work. The pin code here is 574142. We know the local tea shops and the other businesses along the road. It’s a tight-knit area because we all deal with the airport traffic. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the road a bit messy, but we still make it in every day. We are just a group of regular people working for Jet Airways at this specific address. We don't make a big deal out of what we do. We just keep the wheels turning behind the scenes. It is just a normal job in a busy part of the city.
