Our place is called Little Star, and it is located in the M.M. Compound in Boliyar, which is part of the Mangalore area. The post office nearby is Boliyar P.O., and the pin code is 574153. It is a quiet spot away from the main city rush of Mangalore. We have been here for a good while, running the travel office. It is a simple building, nothing fancy at all. We have a few computers and some chairs for people who come in to talk about their trips. Most of our work is just booking tickets and sorting out travel documents for folks. Since we are in a compound, it feels a bit more private. We get a lot of local people stopping by to ask questions about flights or trains. We don't use any complicated systems, just the standard ones that everyone uses. The weather here in Mangalore can get very humid, so we usually have the windows open to catch a breeze. Sometimes the cows from the neighbor's place wander near the gate, which is just how things are around here. We aren't a big corporate office with hundreds of people. It is just us, working through the daily requests and making sure the numbers match up. We like being in Boliyar because it is a familiar neighborhood where we know most of our neighbors. It is just a regular local business doing its thing every day.
