Ashiba Holidays

We started this thing in Padpu House a while back. It's in Thodikana, which is a bit of a quiet spot near Sullia. Mostly we just handle travel stuff for people around here who want to go somewhere else for a bit. It’s not a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. Just a desk and some chairs and a lot of phone calls. Sometimes the signal here gets a bit jumpy, especially when the weather turns, but we manage to get things done. People come by mostly because they know us or someone told them we could help with their holiday plans. My cousin sometimes helps out too when things get busy during the festival times. It gets noisy with all the talking, but that's how it goes. We don't really do the whole corporate thing. If someone wants a ticket or a trip, they just walk in and we talk about it over some tea. It's a bit dusty on the road outside sometimes. I spend half my day looking at maps and the other half trying to explain bus timings or flights to people who haven't traveled much. It’s a simple life here in Dakshina Kannada. We just try to keep the paperwork straight so nobody gets stuck at an airport or a station. That's pretty much it for Ashiba Holidays. Just a local spot in the village doing what we can for the neighbors and anyone else who finds us. We don't have a big website or a bunch of ads, we just work and help people get to where they need to go.
