If you go to the end of Bejai New Road in Mangalore, you’ll find our Air India office. It’s not at the airport, but right here in the city area. We deal with a lot of the ground-level stuff, like bookings and answering questions for people who are planning to fly. It’s a pretty basic setup. We’ve got desks, some chairs for people to wait in, and the usual office equipment. Mangalore can be quite humid, so we’re always keeping the fans going. The office isn't anything special to look at, but it’s where we get the work done. We’re just a small crew here, and we’ve all been doing this for a while. We don't have a lot of fancy corporate talk. We just tell people the flight times and help them with their tickets. Sometimes the system is slow and people get a bit frustrated, but we just try to be helpful and get it sorted. Being at the end of Bejai New Road means we’re a bit out of the main chaos, which is nice. We aren't trying to sell you anything extra; we just want to make sure your travel details are correct. It’s a straightforward job and we do it the best we can every day. No big speeches or polished presentations here, just real people helping other people get to where they need to go.
