The Taste Restaurant

Our place is right on the ground floor of JAY Ambe Avenue-2. If you are driving on the Mehsana Highway near Dholasan, you have probably seen us near the Saffroni College. It is a busy spot because of all the trucks and cars zooming by on the highway all day and night. We get a lot of students from the college who are looking for something quick between their classes. The dust from the road sometimes settles on the front windows so we are always wiping things down. It is a straightforward setup here. We have tables, chairs, and a kitchen that stays hot pretty much all day long. Being on the highway means you never know who is going to walk through the door next. One minute it is a family on vacation and the next it is a driver who has been on the road for ten hours straight. We try to keep the water jugs filled and the fans running when the heat gets bad in Mehsana. It is not a fancy place with tablecloths but it is clean and the food is hot. We put a lot of time into making sure the pantry is stocked because running out of ingredients when a big group arrives is the worst thing that can happen. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It has been this way for a while now and we do not see it changing much anytime soon.
