Mehsana has changed a lot, but our spot at Radhanpur Cross Road is still pretty much the same as it was. We are right near the Janpath Hotel, which is a good landmark if you are looking for us. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s always noise and traffic outside. Inside, we just try to keep things steady. It’s a family-run kind of thing. My uncle started it, and now we all help out. We don’t have a big fancy menu with things you can’t pronounce. It is just local food that people in Mehsana like to eat daily. Some days are slower than others, but lunchtime usually gets pretty packed with people working nearby. We don’t spend money on decorators or anything. The tables are basic and the walls are plain, but it’s comfortable enough for a quick meal. Sometimes we run out of certain items early if the morning crowd was big. We just tell people honestly what’s left. It’s better that way than serving something that isn’t fresh. Living and working near Radhanpur Cross Road means you see everyone passing through. We’ve got regulars who have been coming for years, and we know their orders before they even sit down. It’s not a big chain or anything, just Kalikrupa Restaurant here in Mehsana. We just focus on getting the cooking done right every morning. That's about it. We’re just here doing our job in the middle of Mehsana city and keeping things as they are.
