Varadharaj Salon

Varadharaj Salon has been here in Tirumangalam for a while now. We are tucked away in the Dharmaraj Complex on Rajaram Street, right near Pudunagar in Jawahar Nagar. Most people find us because they live nearby or they're passing through this part of Madurai. It’s just a regular shop with the usual chairs and mirrors you’d expect. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on the weekends when everyone has time off, so the wait can be a little long. We don’t have fancy waiting areas, just some plastic chairs where you can sit and look at the street outside. The shop stays open pretty late most days because people coming back from work stop in for a quick trim. It’s nothing special to look at from the outside, just a blue sign and the glass door. We keep things pretty simple here. We’ve seen kids grow up coming to this shop, and now they bring their own kids. The fans stay on all day because of the heat, and there is always a bit of chatter going on between customers. We try to keep the place tidy, but when it’s busy, hair gets everywhere on the floor. It’s a local spot where you know what you’re getting. No big surprises, just a place to get your hair cut and maybe hear some news about what’s happening in the neighborhood. We are at No 88/13 and usually, someone is around if you drop by during the day. We are easy to find.
