Maanasa Hair & Beauty Salon

Maanasa Hair & Beauty Salon is located on the first floor of the Ptr Tower. That is at number 181 on South Perumal Maistry Street in Madurai. We are quite close to the Kannan Silk House, which is a big landmark around here. It is a very busy street with all the shoppers and traffic passing by constantly. We have been running this salon for a while now. It is a simple setup without anything fancy. We have a few chairs for hair cutting and a separate corner for the beauty treatments. My aunt originally started the shop and now a few of us work here together as a family. We do bridal makeup if people ask for it, but mostly it is just regular haircuts and oil massages for the locals. Madurai is always crowded and hot, so people like to come in here just to sit for a bit in the shade. We do not have any fancy interiors or expensive furniture. The walls are just painted plain and we have the usual salon equipment. We like to chat with the customers while we work on their hair. It is mostly local ladies from the neighborhood who come by to see us. Sometimes we get people who are just visiting the city for the day. We open around ten in the morning and stay until the evening. We just do our job and try to make sure everyone is okay with how they look. (252 words)
