You can find New Sugam Beauty Clinic at No.103 North Avani Street in Simmakkal, right near the car parking area. It’s a handy location because people can just drop their cars off and walk over. Our place isn't one of those high-end spas with dim lights and music. It’s a bright, active beauty clinic where there’s usually a lot of talking and the sound of hair dryers. We have some big mirrors on the walls and those standard black salon chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. Simmakkal is a busy part of town, so we get a lot of people stopping in while they are out doing their errands. It can get a bit cramped when we have three or four customers at once, but we make it work. There’s always a bit of hair on the floor or a bottle of polish left out on the counter because we stay moving. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of our clients' families and what’s going on in the neighborhood. It’s a place to get fixed up and have a chat. We don’t use any fancy words for what we do. We just cut hair, do facials, and try to make sure people leave looking a bit better than when they came in. It’s just a regular local business run by people who live right here.
