We have the usual chairs, mirrors, and a lot of talk going on throughout the day. People come in for a quick trim or a shave before work, and on weekends, it gets pretty crowded with guys just hanging out. We don’t do anything too fancy, just the styles people ask for. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, and there’s always news playing on the small TV in the corner. We keep the scissors sharp and the combs clean. It’s the kind of place where you can just sit down and relax while we get to work. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so we’re always sweeping up between customers. Madurai heat can be something else, so we try to keep the fans going full blast. Most of our customers are regulars who live right here in Anna Nagar. They know us by name and we know how they like their hair cut without even asking. We aren’t trying to be a high-end boutique or anything like that. We just provide a place for a decent haircut and maybe a bit of gossip about what’s happening in the city. It's just us doing what we know how to do every single day.
