Sathish Salon

Sathish Salon has been sitting on Velar Street for a good while now. We are right at No 126, just across from the State Bank of India in Samayanallur. It’s easy to find because of the bank right there. Madurai 625402 is home for us. The shop isn't anything fancy with glass walls or big signs, it’s just a neighborhood place. I opened this because I knew how to cut hair and wanted to stay close to home. Most of the guys who come here live on this street or nearby. We do the usual stuff like haircuts, beard trims, and head massages. Sometimes the shop gets crowded, especially when the bank is busy across the street. We just have a few chairs and mirrors. I try to keep the place clean, but it's a working shop, you know. There's always hair on the floor until we sweep it up after a customer leaves. We don't take appointments or anything, just walk in and sit on the bench. It’s nice talking to the neighbors while they wait. People tell me about their day and we just get on with it. It's a simple life here in Samayanallur. If you need a haircut and don't want to spend too much, you can find us easily. We stay open late most nights unless something comes up. It’s just a regular local shop for regular people.
