Nalanda H.S.School

Our school is over on Chandrakanthi Nagar Main, specifically at No 195/75 in the Arasaradi area of Madurai. Madurai is a city that never really sleeps, and our part of town is always buzzing with people and vehicles. Being a higher secondary school, we deal with the older students who are getting ready for college. The building is a bit older and has that classic school feel with high ceilings and heavy doors. We spend a lot of time in the office dealing with registers and student IDs. The walk to the school is busy, with shops selling everything from tea to notebooks right around the corner. Inside, it’s a mix of quiet study time and the loud chaos that happens when the bell rings for break. We have a courtyard where students gather, and you can hear the echoes of their voices throughout the building. The teachers here are mostly locals who have been living in Madurai their whole lives. We don't go in for anything too modern or flashy. It’s about getting the syllabus finished and making sure the kids are prepared for their final exams. Sometimes the water pipes act up or we need to repaint a wall, but that’s just how it is. We are just a regular school in Arasaradi trying to help the next generation get through their exams so they can move on to whatever is next for them.
