Anna University

This branch of Anna University is tucked away on Samy Asari Lane, near Chinnakkadai Street in the Southgate area of Madurai. It’s a busy part of the city, and the lane itself can be quite narrow and crowded. We handle a lot of the administrative stuff here, so you will usually see students coming in with forms or asking about their exams. It isn't a massive campus with fields and trees; it is more of a functional space where the real work of managing education happens. The Madurai heat can be pretty intense, so we keep the windows open to catch any breeze, though it’s mostly just the sound of the street that comes in. We have files stacked up from years of students passing through. It’s a bit old-fashioned in here, with wooden desks and a lot of paper everywhere. We try to help everyone who walks through the door, but sometimes there is a long queue and things move a bit slow. We’ve been at this 25/5A address for a while. Most people in the neighborhood know where we are. It’s just a regular office where we deal with the day-to-day needs of the university system. It’s not flashy, but it gets the job done and keeps the students moving toward their degrees. We see a lot of hopeful faces every morning.
