Muthu Salon

You can find Muthu Salon on Athikulam Main Road. We are in the K Pudhur area of Madurai, zip code 625007. Specifically, we are near the Pudur Vandipathai stretch. It is a good neighborhood with plenty of people walking around. I started this shop because I wanted to work for myself and serve the local crowd. The shop has everything needed for a standard haircut. I spend a lot of time cleaning the combs and making sure the towels are fresh. It is not a big corporate place, just a simple room with some chairs. Most of my customers live right here in K Pudhur. They come in and we talk about the news or just the weather while I work. The main road gets quite busy during the morning and evening hours. I like being part of this community. It feels good to know the people who live around Athikulam. Sometimes kids come in with their fathers for their first haircut and they are always a bit nervous. I just try to make them feel okay. The shop stays open late most days to make sure people who work long hours can still get a trim. It is a basic setup, really. No fancy decorations or anything like that. Just a place to get a decent haircut on Athikulam Main Road. We have been here for a while and plan to stay for many more years to come, hopefully.
