Lions Salon

Lions Salon is located on Melur Main Road in Othakadai. We are right near the Sivalingam Theatre, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. When there is a big movie release, the whole street gets very loud and crowded, but inside the shop, it stays a bit more normal. We have been here for some time now. The address is Melur Main Road, Othakadai, Madurai - 625107. People usually drop in before they go to catch a show or after they finish their work in the market nearby. It is just a regular spot with regular people. We have the usual chairs and the big mirrors. I like to keep the radio playing in the background, mostly old songs or the news. Sometimes the shop gets full of dust because of the traffic on the main road, so we are always cleaning the glass. It is a busy area, but our corner feels like home to us. You can see the theater lights from the front door when it gets dark. Most of our regulars are from the Othakadai area, and we know their names and how they like their hair done. It is not a fancy place, just a local salon where you can sit and relax for a bit while we work. The benches are simple and the talk is always about local things that happen in Madurai.
