Our school is located on Alagar Kovil Main Road in K Pudhur, Madurai. It’s a spot that most locals know because of the traffic. We have a decent-sized building where we have all our classes. Madurai heat is something we just deal with every day, so the rooms are built to stay as cool as possible. We have a lot of students coming from the surrounding blocks. The playground is okay, though the kids always wish it was bigger for their football games. We don’t go for any of that corporate branding stuff. It’s just a place where teachers come to teach and kids come to learn. The staff room is usually piled high with notebooks that need marking. That is just part of the job. We have seen many kids grow up here, starting from the small classes and going all the way up. The main road is right outside, so it can be a bit loud during the day, but we are used to it. We keep the gates closed to keep the dust out. It is a simple setup without any unnecessary fluff. Parents stop by to talk about their kids' progress, and we give it to them straight. It’s just a regular, honest school for the families in this part of Madurai. We don't make big promises, we just do the work.
