Imayam Salon

Imayam Salon is over at No 46 C on Thannichai Main Road. We are in Alanganallur, which is part of the Vadipatti Taluk area near Madurai. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city center, but this is where we live and work. The road outside can get busy, especially during festival times. We’ve got a modest setup here. It’s nothing like the big salons you see in the malls. We just have the essentials. Being in 625501 means we serve the local village folks and people passing through on Thannichai Main Road. Most days it’s just a few of us working. We know most of the people who walk through the door. They are our neighbors and friends. Some come in just to sit and talk for a bit while they wait. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy booking system. You just show up and wait your turn. The shop is small, but it’s ours. We take care of it as best we can. Sometimes the fans don't work right, or we run out of a certain hair cream, but we manage. People in Alanganallur seem to appreciate having a place close by. We’ve been at this spot for some time and plan to stay. Imayam Salon is just a local spot for local people. We don't have any big plans to expand. We just like doing what we do on our corner of Thannichai Main Road.
