Balamurugan Salon

Our salon is located in Vadipatti, which is out in the Madurai district. You can find us in Puthu Vilangudi, right across from the Panchayat Union Office. It is a busy little corner of the world with people coming and going from the office all day. We have been serving the local community here for a long time. People come to us when they need to look tidy for a family wedding or just for their regular monthly trim. The shop is quite modest and small. We have a few chairs and some basic equipment that gets the job done. It is usually just me and maybe one other person working here on the busy days. Being right across from the government office means we see a lot of people passing by. Sometimes they just stop in to say hello even if they don't need a haircut. We keep things very informal here. You don't need to dress up to come to our shop. Most of our customers are farmers or workers from the nearby areas. We know their families and what is going on in their lives. The floor is usually covered in hair by mid-morning, but we sweep it up when things slow down. We use simple products and basic techniques. There are no fancy machines or expensive treatments here. Just a good old-fashioned haircut and a bit of conversation. It is a steady job and we are happy to be here.
