Abi Salon

Abi Salon is located on Vadipatti Road in Madurai City. We are in Kalaivani Nagar, right next to the Canara Bank. Being next to a bank is helpful because everyone knows where that is. We have been here for a good amount of time. The shop is small and simple. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls. It’s mostly just the tools we use for hair. 625001 is a busy part of Madurai. There is always noise from the street and people walking by. Our customers are mostly local guys from Kalaivani Nagar. They come in for a trim and maybe a bit of a chat. We don't have a website or any online presence. We just rely on the sign outside on Vadipatti Road. Some people come in because they saw the bank and noticed us next door. It’s a convenient spot for them. We keep our hours regular, though we might close a bit early if it’s a holiday. The shop is a bit dusty sometimes because of the road, but we try to keep it tidy inside. We aren't looking to become a big chain. Abi Salon is just a small place run by local people who know the neighborhood. It’s been that way since we started, and we like it. We hope to stay here for many more years, cutting hair and watching the bank traffic go by on Vadipatti Road.
