We've been here on Bus Stand Road for a while now. It gets pretty busy around here with all the traffic coming in and out of Bharat Nagar. Being right near the Lifeline Polyclinic & Nursing Home makes us easy to find, though parking is sometimes a bit of a headache. We mostly spend our days looking at screens, trying to figure out train schedules and bus timings for folks in Ludhiana. It’s a small office, nothing fancy. We just keep the lights on and help people get where they need to go. Some days are slow, others we have four people talking at once asking about ticket prices to Delhi or up into the hills. We don't have a big team or anything, just a couple of us who know how the booking systems work. The internet goes down occasionally, and we have to wait it out, but that's just how it is. We keep a diary for bookings because sometimes the computer just isn't enough. People stop by after visiting the clinic or when they're walking toward the bus stand. It’s a lot of repeating the same info about seat availability. We try to be straight with everyone about what’s available and what isn't. If a bus is going to be late, we tell you. There’s no point in sugarcoating it. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. We are just local people trying to earn a living.
