Khalsa Highway Bus Service (Regd)

We’ve been operating out of the Ludhiana Bus Stand for quite a while now. It’s a busy place, always something going on with the buses coming and going at all hours. Khalsa Highway Bus Service (Regd) is just one of the names you'll see on the boards around here. Being at the bus stand means we're right in the middle of all the noise and the fumes. Most days start early for us, way before the sun is even up, just to get things ready for the first departures. We deal with passengers who are often in a hurry, handling tickets and making sure the routes are set for the drivers. It's mostly about keeping the buses moving and trying to stay on schedule as best as we can. Sometimes things get delayed because of traffic or the weather, but that's just part of working at a place like this. People come to us when they need to get somewhere. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning, just our small spot at the stand with a few benches and a desk. It’s a lot of manual work, checking schedules on paper and talking to drivers who are tired. Ludhiana is a big hub for travel, so there's never really a quiet moment. We see a lot of the same faces every week, mostly people commuting for their jobs. Our name is on the side of the buses and on our desk where the folders are kept. We've stayed in the same spot because it works.
