If you walk through the Main Market in Kitchlu Nagar, you’ll probably see our sign for Travel Quest. It’s a busy part of the neighborhood, especially in the evenings when everyone is out doing their shopping. We spend a lot of time on the phones or looking at screens, trying to figure out flight paths and hotel dates. It can get pretty loud outside with the traffic and the street vendors, but we’re used to it by now. People pop in all the time just to ask a quick question about passports or to see if prices have gone down for summer trips. We have a few old maps on the wall that are probably out of date, but they look nice. My desk is usually covered in sticky notes because I forget things if I don't write them down immediately. Sometimes the internet goes slow right when we’re trying to book something, which is frustrating, but that’s just how it goes. We drink a lot of tea here to stay focused. It’s not a large space, just enough room for a couple of desks and some chairs for people to wait. We know most of the people who walk past our door every day. It’s a good spot to be in because you see everyone and everything. We aren't doing anything fancy, just helping people get from one place to another without too much of a headache. Most days are just about solving small travel puzzles.
