Tour Mantra

Our office is on the first floor near Satyam Chok and Kailash Chok in Ludhiana. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always a lot of honking and traffic noise coming through the window. We’ve been here for a while, helping people figure out their travel plans. It’s not a huge space, just a couple of desks, some computers, and a lot of paper. People come in looking to go all over the place, and we do our best to find them a route that works. Sometimes the phones won't stop ringing and it gets a bit hectic. Other times, it’s just us sitting here and checking prices on the screen. We aren’t a big travel corporation with a call center. You just come up the stairs and talk to us directly. We’ve seen a lot of changes in how people travel, but the basic stuff stays the same. People want to get where they are going without too much trouble. We spend a lot of time on the phone with airlines or bus companies. It’s a lot of waiting on hold, which can be frustrating. Ludhiana is a fast-paced city, and our corner of it is no different. We drink a lot of tea to keep going during the long afternoons. It’s a small business, and we just take things one day at a time. It's mostly about keeping the dates straight and the names spelled correctly on the tickets.
