Jimmy Travels

If you have ever been to the Ludhiana Bus Stand, you probably know how hectic it gets around there. Jimmy Travels is located right in the middle of all that action inside the Dhyan Singh Complex. It is a very convenient spot if you are already catching a bus or just getting into town. You can hear the horns honking and the drivers shouting destinations all day long. Our office is just a simple space where we manage all the travel details. It is not very quiet, but it’s where everything happens. We have been here for a good bit now. Most days are spent answering questions from people walking in from the station. The complex itself has a lot of movement, people carrying luggage and rushing to their gates. We just stay at our desks, keeping track of the schedules and making sure the paperwork is correct. There’s always a bit of tea being shared and someone usually has the news on. It’s a very local vibe. No fancy decorations or big signs, just the name on the door and some maps on the wall. We know the area around the bus stand like the back of our hand. It is a busy life but it keeps us on our toes. Sometimes we have to step out for a minute to get some air or grab a snack from the vendors nearby. That’s just the daily routine for us here at the stand.
