Ghai Travels

We are over at Shop number 48 in the Kamala Nehru Market on Gill Road. It’s a good spot because we are very close to the railway station. You can usually hear the trains if you listen closely. We’ve been operating out of this market for a long time now. The shop is quite small and it’s filled with old travel posters and stacks of papers. It’s not a corporate environment at all; it’s just a local business where we do our thing. We help people with all their travel needs, whether they are looking for a car to rent or a ticket to a different city. Being near the station means we get a lot of people who are in a hurry. We don't have any fancy marketing talk or polished brochures. We just talk to people and find out what they need. Sometimes the market gets very crowded and it’s hard to even walk outside, but we like the energy of the place. We’ve lived in Ludhiana our whole lives, so we know how to get around and how things work here. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We just try to be honest and tell people what the options are. It’s a steady way to spend the day, and we enjoy seeing our regular customers come back.
