Discovers & Destinations

Our office for Discovers & Destinations is at 414-B in BRS Nagar. It’s a decent-sized space where we handle all sorts of travel arrangements. Ludhiana is a big city, but BRS Nagar has a specific feel to it that I’ve always liked. We have been here for a while, and the office has become a bit of a second home to me. I usually spend my morning going through the latest updates and seeing what's changed with the airlines. It’s not a fancy place with lots of chrome and glass, just some solid desks and chairs where we can sit and talk. I try to keep the atmosphere relaxed because planning a trip can be stressful for some people. I’ve got a lot of maps and old travel guides sitting on the shelves that I don't really use anymore, but they look nice. Most of the time, it's just the sound of the keyboard and the phone. I handle most of the bookings myself, making sure I get the names right on the tickets. If the weather is nice, I leave the door open to get some fresh air. People from the area know they can just drop in if they have a question. We don't do much advertising; it's mostly people telling their friends about us. I think staying small and local is better for everyone. It’s a straightforward way to work, and I enjoy meeting different people every day.
