Zanskar Kanishka Expeditions

Our place, Zanskar Kanishka Expeditions, is tucked into the White House Complex on Fort Road. It’s a central spot in Leh, so it’s easy to find if you’re staying nearby. We’ve been operating out of this office for a while now. We mostly focus on trips that go deep into the mountains, especially towards Zanskar. It’s a long way out there and the roads can be rough, so we spend a lot of time making sure everything is ready before anyone heads out. We aren't a big flashy company with lots of brochures. Most of what we do is just talking to people and explaining how the weather and the passes look this time of year. Some days are quieter than others, but we’re usually around to answer questions. Living in Leh, you get used to the rhythm of the seasons. We know the local drivers and the guys who look after the horses. It’s a small world up here. If you need to find us, just look for the White House Complex on Fort Road. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that, just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of experience with the local trails. We try to keep things straightforward. If a route is closed, we tell you. If a trip is going to be hard, we don't pretend it's easy. It’s just about being honest and getting people where they want to go.
