Ri Wang Trek

We are located in the Lakrook Complex on Fort Road. This is right in the center of Leh Ho, so it is always very busy outside our door. We do a lot of trekking work. Our office in the complex is small and simple. We have some maps of the Zanskar and Sham valleys hanging up. We grew up here in Ladakh, so these mountains are just our backyard. We don't try to act like we are better than anyone else. We just provide a service for people who want to see the area. The Lakrook Complex is a well-known spot, so people find us without much trouble. We spend our days answering questions about the weather and the gear people need. Sometimes we have to explain that the mountains are tougher than they look. We don't have any polished mission statements. We just want to do our job and go home. Fort Road can be very noisy with all the horns and the people, but we are used to it by now. We work with a small group of local guides and drivers who we trust. It is a very direct way of doing business. If you need something, you just come in and ask us. We don't use much technology, mostly just our notebooks and the phone. It works for us and keeps things simple.
