Yasmin Trek & Tours

Yasmin Trek & Tours is based on Fort Road in Leh Ho. This is where we do all of our daily work. It is a standard spot right in the middle of town, so it is pretty easy to find us if you are just walking around the market. We handle a lot of the usual stuff that people need when they come to Ladakh, like organizing local trips and looking at different trekking routes on the maps. Our office is where we keep our supplies and talk to the drivers before they head out. We have lived in Leh for a long time now, so we know the roads and the shortcuts pretty well. Sometimes the winters here are very long and quiet, but during the summer, Fort Road gets very busy with tourists. We spend our mornings getting everything ready for the groups. It is definitely not a corporate setup. We just have a few desks and some chairs for when people visit. We try to be helpful when folks come in asking about the distance to different valleys or the state of the roads. It is hard work sometimes because the terrain around here is very tough on the vehicles and the people. We just take it one day at a time. If you need to find us, just head toward the center of Leh. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the area and like being outdoors.
