The Summit Adventures

You can find The Summit Adventures on Changspa Road, just next to the Eagle Guest House. It’s a popular area for people staying in Leh, so there are always travelers walking back and forth past our door. Our little office is quite simple. We have a few desks and some photos of the mountains pinned up on the walls. We don't spend money on big ads or polished websites. Most of our work comes from people just walking in after breakfast at one of the nearby cafes. We spend our days chatting about the different routes and which valleys are looking greenest this week. We know the local drivers well, and they usually stop by for a chat and some tea in the afternoons. Living in Ladakh means you have to be ready for anything. One day the sun is burning hot, and the next day there is a chill in the air that goes right to your bones. We've lived through plenty of winters here, so we don't get worried easily. We just do our best to make sure travelers have what they need for their trips. Whether it’s a bike or just some good advice about the altitude, we try to be helpful. It isn't a fancy operation, just some local folks who know the area well and like being out in the hills.
