Nezer Inexpensive Adventure

Nezer Inexpensive Adventure is located right at the Hotel Nezer Holiday Inn on Old Road. Being part of the hotel means there’s always something going on around us. People are checking in, others are leaving for the airport, and there’s usually a lot of talk in the lobby. Our little corner is pretty simple. We don’t have much more than a desk and some notebooks to keep track of things. Old Road is a good place to be because it’s a bit away from the main rush, but still easy to get to. The building itself has that classic Leh look, and it feels solid even when the wind is howling outside. We’ve spent many winters here, so we know how to keep warm and keep things moving even when it’s freezing. We don’t really go for a professional or corporate vibe. It’s more about being around and being helpful. We drink a lot of tea and spend time talking to guests about their plans. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have a lot of fancy brochures. Most people find us because they are staying at the hotel or someone told them to come by. It’s a practical, down-to-earth kind of place. We just try to make things work for people who want to see the mountains without spending a lot of money. It’s just us here, making sure things get done.
