We are located over by the New Bus Stand in Leh. It is a very busy spot with lots of buses and taxis coming and going at all hours. Our business, New Bus Stand, Leh-Ladakhhimalayan Tour And Travels, has been operating out of this specific area for a good while. Being near the bus stand means we see a lot of people arriving in Ladakh for the very first time. We help them figure out where they should go next. It is a loud and dusty part of town, but it is where all the action is. We do not have a polished office with air conditioning or anything like that. It is just a simple room where we keep our files and meet with the drivers to talk about the routes. We organize tours across the Himalayas, mostly focusing on the local spots around Leh and the further valleys that take a few days to reach. We do not use big words or try to sell people on things they do not actually need. We just tell them what the road conditions are like and what they can expect from the weather. Most of us grew up here, so we are very used to the thin air and the cold winters. We work hard to keep our vehicles running well because the roads here are very rough on engines. It is a basic life, but we enjoy meeting different people who arrive by the bus.
