K Two Adventure

K Two Adventure is located right in the Main Bazar of Leh. We are situated very close to the Jamia Masjid, which is the big mosque that everyone knows. Being in the bazaar means we are right in the middle of everything. It is always noisy outside with people shopping and talking and the sounds of the town. Our office is a small space where we manage all our trekking and adventure work. We have been doing this for several years now. We are not some big corporate agency from the city; we are just local guys from Ladakh. We spend a lot of our time checking on gear like tents and sleeping bags to make sure they are still good for the cold nights in the mountains. We also spend many hours talking to the horsemen and the guides we work with. The mountains are a tough place, and we do not try to make it sound like it is easy. We just give people the facts about the trails and what the weather is doing. Sometimes the passes get closed because of snow, and we have to change all the plans at the last minute. That is just how life goes here. We do not have a fancy reception desk or anything. You just walk in and we can talk about the mountains over some tea. It is a simple way of working, but it has worked for us so far.
