Juniper Travel India

We are located over at Juniper 1, 2, and 3 on Upper Tukcha Road. It’s near the Zangsti area and right across from the Jigmat Guest House. We’ve been operating Juniper Travel India out of this spot for quite some time now. The road outside can be a bit bumpy, but that’s just Leh for you. We handle a bit of everything, from car rentals to organizing stays. Our space is simple, mostly just desks and chairs where we sort out the paperwork for the groups coming through. It gets busy during the summer months when everyone wants to visit at once. We spend a lot of our time on the phone with drivers and guesthouses in the remote valleys. It’s a lot of juggling to make sure everyone is where they are supposed to be. We like being in this part of town because it’s close enough to the center but doesn't feel too crowded. We don't have any big speeches to give about our work. We just show up every day, make some tea, and get the permits filed. Sometimes things go slow with the electricity or the water, but we manage somehow. If you’re staying nearby, you’ve probably walked past us a few times already. It’s just how things are run around here, keeping it local and moving along with the season.
