Hidden Himalaya

You can find us at Shop No. 21 in the Hemis Complex, right on Zangsti Road. Hidden Himalaya is a small place, but we keep ourselves busy. Most of our days are spent talking about the trails and the high passes that most people don't see. We like the quieter spots in Ladakh. Being in the Hemis Complex means we see a lot of people coming and going from the main town area. We’ve lived here our whole lives, so we know the shortcuts and the places that are still peaceful even in July. It’s not a fancy office with big screens, just a desk and some local knowledge. We help people figure out how to get to the remote monasteries or how to plan a walk through the Markha Valley. The mountains around Leh are beautiful but they can be tough if you aren't ready for the altitude. We try to tell people to take it slow and drink plenty of water. We handle the transport and the guides, making sure everyone is safe. It’s a simple business. We don't use big words or make huge promises. We just know the land and we help you see it. If the shop door is open, come in and say hello. We are usually around even when it's quiet. It's just us doing what we know best in our home town.
