Global Explorers

Global Explorers is located over in the Chanspa area of Leh. If you know where the Zen Garden Restaurant is, we are just a short walk from there. Chanspa is a bit more relaxed than the main market, which suits us just fine. We started this because we like the outdoors and wanted to help others see the mountains too. It’s not always easy running a business at this altitude, but we make it work. We spend our mornings checking the weather and making sure the gear is in good shape. Most people who visit us are looking for a quiet trek or just want to know how to get to the monasteries without getting lost. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few local guys who know the trails like the back of our hands. Sometimes we are out in the field, so the office might be closed for an hour, but we usually leave a note on the door. We think it’s important to be honest about how hard the hiking can be here. It’s beautiful but the air is thin. We just try to give practical advice based on what we’ve seen over the years. No tall tales, just the facts about the trails and the local villages. Stop by if you’re heading towards Chanspa for dinner or a coffee. We are usually here until late.
