Friends Journeys

We are located over on Four Road here in Leh, Ladakh. If you know the area, it is right near Upper Tukcha Road. Friends Journeys is just a small local setup we started because we live here and know the mountains well. It is not a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. Just a simple place where we sit and talk to people about where they want to go. The air is thin up here at 194101, so we take things a bit slow. Most days you can find us just hanging around the office or checking on the gear. It gets pretty cold in the winters, so we mostly stay busy when the sun is out and the passes are open. We grew up around these hills and decided to call ourselves Friends Journeys because that is how we treat the people who come by. It is a family thing mostly. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone writing polished scripts for us. Just us. If you walk up from the main market toward Upper Tukcha, you will see us. It’s a quiet part of town compared to the main bazaar. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet is slow, but that is just how life is in Leh. We keep things honest and just tell you what the roads are like today. That is pretty much who we are.
