Kullu Valley School

We've been here in Ward No 1 for a while now. The school is right in the heart of Kullu, so it's easy for everyone to find. It gets quite cold in the winters, but the kids don't seem to mind much as long as they have their sweaters. We mostly just focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure everyone shows up on time every day. There's a lot of noise during recess, which is pretty normal for a place like this. The classrooms are basic but they work for what we need. Parents often drop by to talk about their kids' grades or just to see how things are going. We have some old trees around the yard that give a bit of shade when the sun is out. It’s not a huge place, just a regular local school where people know each other by name. Sometimes the monkeys come around the playground, so we have to keep an eye out for them. The morning assembly is the only time when everyone is actually quiet for once. We try to keep things organized, but with so many children, it can get a bit chaotic by the afternoon. Most of the teachers live nearby, so they know the families well. It’s just a part of the community here. We don’t have fancy stuff, just desks, boards, and books. Life here follows the seasons. When the apples are ready in the valley, things feel a bit different, but the school routine stays the same.
