Sangeetha Catering

Sangeetha Catering is based in Kaithapoyil. It is a bit of a drive from the main city, but we like the space we have out here. Being in a place like Kaithapoyil means we know most of the people who live around us. We have been doing catering for quite a few years now. It started out small, just helping with food for neighbors, but then more people started asking. We do a lot of traditional dishes that people expect at local gatherings. The kitchen gets really busy during the wedding season. There are days when we are all exhausted from the heat and the constant cooking. We don't have a big fancy management team. It is just family and a few helpers who have been with us for a long time. We don't spend much time worrying about how we look to the outside world. We just focus on getting the rice cooked right and making sure the curries have the right balance of spices. Sometimes the delivery van acts up, or we have trouble finding a specific ingredient, but we always figure it out. It is a very hands-on kind of business. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just want to provide food for people's special days and make sure nobody goes home hungry. It’s a simple goal but it takes a lot of effort for our small team.
